{this moment}

{this moment} - A Friday ritual inspired by Amanda, aka Soule Mama. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

~~~~~
~~~~~

In gratitude this week for:

  • farm fresh milk
  • garden harvest of peas, tomatoes, beans, and succhini
  • a little time to sew and knit
  • good friends
  • this life I am so blessed to live

Wishing you all a glorious weekend.

  20. I wanted to respond to your comment on my blog (thank you for visiting, too!).

    I found my spindle on Etsy, there are a lot to choose from, but I ordered from Froggy Fibers. Her spindles are inexpensive ($10 plus $3.50 for shipping) and rustic-yet-pretty. I wanted something rather basic in case I didn't find myself enjoying it. She also sells roving and handspun, so I figured she knew a thing or two about spindles. If you are new to spinning, let her know. She included some references for me to help along the way.

    I also read Start Spinning, which was very helpful. You can look at Escaping Suburbia blog for inspiration, she has done lovely spinning.
