Yarn Along ~ More Socks

Joining Ginny in her weekly Yarn Along. In her words:

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a single photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

Life has been very busy and not much knitting has gotten done. Seems I have kind of lost my rhythm. But my fingers are itching to get back in the grove. And I better hurry as these socks have a deadline. I am loving how the blues and greens are melting together in this yarn. They are definitely very Spring. Which is just what I need right now as I woke to more snow, just flurries mind you but it was still snow. Oh how I am ready for SPRING!

As for reading, I have been hopping between quite a few books lately. Many of which were recommend by the wonderful ladies participating in the yarn along. However, then Rebekah's curriculum for next year arrived and I haven't been able to put it down. Even though I have been homeschooling for 10 years now I am still learning so much about teaching, learning, childhood, myself and so much more. Homeschooling has been such a wonderful journey for our entire family.

Don't forget to stop by the other Yarn Along participants for some fiber inspiration and a great reading list.

  1. I totally understand about homeschooling books. I don't know what I am going to do when this last one is finished! At least I have a few years left.
